INDEPENDENT REGULATORY REVIEW COMMISSION

The Independent Regulatory Review Commission, or IRRC, was established in 1982 to review regulations proposed by most all agencies of state government.  Among other things, the IRRC examines proposed regulations to make sure they are in keeping with legislative intent and are necessary and cost-effective to protect the public health, safety and welfare as provided in law.

To find out more about the IRRC, keep up on state regulations, or comment on proposed regulations and participate in public meetings, visit the IRRC's website by clicking here.
