O'PAKE ANNOUNCES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCING FOR KUTZTOWN PROJECT

          Harrisburg, July 24, 2007 -- State Senator Michael A. O’Pake today announced that the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA) approved tax-exempt bond financing in the amount of $1,300,000 for Topwater Investments, Inc., the real estate holding company of Multicell North, Inc., to purchase and renovate the former Wissahickon Water Company building in Kutztown Borough.
          The funding will help Topwater/Multicell North, a manufacturer of packaging partitions, to preserve 16 existing jobs and create 10 new positions.
          Senator O’Pake noted that the tax exempt bond financing for this project is part of the Commonwealth’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth.
