in Recycling Grants Awarded to Berks

A. O’Pake today announced that twelve Berks County municipalities have
been awarded Recycling Performance Grants totaling $204,603 by the
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Senator O’Pake
explained that eligibility for this grant funding is based on the total
tons of materials recycled in a municipality and a municipality’s
overall recycling rate.
