PENNSYLVANIA'S
"DO NOT CALL" LIST
Telemarketing
calls can be an unwanted nuisance and an invasion of your personal
privacy. That's why Pennsylvania passed a law (Act
24 of 2002) that gave our citizens the option of eliminating many of these calls by
placing their names and phone numbers on a "Do Not Call"
list. BUT,
registration on the "Do Not Call" list is ONLY VALID
FOR FIVE YEARS. YOU MUST RE-REGISTER within
five years of your first registration if you want to remain on the "Do
Not Call" list. If you can't remember when you
registered, you can re-register at anytime to remain on the "Do Not
Call" list for an additional five years. (You can verify
whether and when you originally registered by clicking
HERE.)Whether re-registering -- or getting on Pennsylvania's "Do
Not Call" list for the first time -- it's quick and easy.
